Massachusetts’ Premier Professional Organization for Fundraisers
The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is an international organization dedicated to advancing philanthropy through advocacy, research, education and certification programs. An individual membership organization, AFP fosters fundraising professionals’ development and growth and promotes a commitment to the highest ethical standards of practice.
AFP Massachusetts is one of 213 chapters linking more than 30,000 members worldwide. At the local level, AFP Massachusetts provides members a network of hundreds of energetic, committed fellow practitioners; hosts regular seminars, workshops and an annual conference; and offers access to career opportunities and resources through our sponsors.
Our 700 members represent the full range of nonprofit organizations — education, health care, human services, youth development and arts, as well as faith-based groups and critical areas of expertise in fundraising and communications.
