The chapter has six standing committees, which are described below. To learn more about becoming involved in any of these areas, select the appropriate email link or call the chapter office at 781.894.3140.

Administration

The responsibilities of the Administration Committee includes reviewing and monitoring the chapter budget, planning the Annual Meeting, and managing the services of the chapter administrator. Subcommittees include Finance and Annual Meeting.

Conference

The Annual Conference is the premier annual educational offering of the chapter, and is one of the most respected fundraising conferences in the country. This is an excellent way for members of the chapter to become involved.

Education

The Education Committee conceptualizes, designs and implements all educational offerings of the chapter, including monthly breakfast meetings, the Brown Bag series, the Fundraising Basics course for new professionals, programs for advanced executives, and the Philanthropy Project.

External Affairs

Activities include the Diversity Fellowship program, media relations, membership development, government relations, the chapter newsletter, and the chapter website.

Nominating Committee

This important committee evaluates the needs of the chapter and selects a slate of nominees to fill officer positions and vacancies on the board of directors, to be presented at the annual meeting.
