Fundraising Day in Boston Scholarships

INTRODUCTION

Six conference scholarships were awarded last year each valued at $450. The number of scholarships that we can award is determined by donor funding.  Two of these will be the Susan S. Paresky Scholarship and Tamara E. Rogers Scholarship, both being offered this year in recognition of their successful careers in fundraising. To be eligible for a conference scholarship, candidates must work for a nonprofit organization with a total organizational budget of $5 million or less (note that preference will be given to individuals from organizations with budgets of $3 million or less). If you are a consultant and you work with small shops you are eligible. Consideration will be in favor of new applicants.

INSTRUCTIONS

The Application period for this year's scholarship program is now closed.

Results will be announced by email on Friday, November 8, 2019 by 5:00 pm.

Scholarship candidates need not register for the conference until all scholarship awards are announced. We will reserve a space for you (at the rate that was applicable on the date of your submission).

If at that time you are selected to receive a full scholarship, AFP MA will send you instructions on how to register online for the conference.  If you are not selected but would still like to attend, there will be instructions on how to register online at the rate that was in effect on the date you submitted your scholarship application. If you have questions about this process, please call AFP MA Chapter at 781-894-3140 or email info@afpmass.org.
